Mielęckiego 1 (formerly known as Warszawska 7) is historic and protected 19th Century building in the centre of Katowice, previously the regional headquarters of a Polish Bank. Apricot Capital Group, through its subsidiary Apricot Entertainment, is engaged on an urban revitalisation project which is aesthetically improving this area of Katowice and also contributing to local economic development, through the creation of at least 250 jobs within the building, once redevelopment is completed.

Apricot Entertainment has been mandated to design, build-out, launch and subsequently operate 4,400 m2, which will be dedicated exclusively to food, beverage, events, and entertainment, with the objective of filling a currently empty space in this city’s leisure offering. This mixed-use venue, named Pałac Kota, with patios and terraces, is spread across 4 storeys and an underground level. The gastronomy-related businesses will be presenting chef-driven fare from around the world, while the entertainment-related businesses will encompass themed bars, lounges, and a nightclub. The layout and variety of consumption options available will encourage customers to flow through and explore what is a very attractive building, whilst encouraging them to make multiple purchases. Construction has commenced on this project and completion is planned for mid-2024. Apritech and Studio20, another two Apricot Capital Group subsidiaries, are currently engaged as general contractors and architects, respectively.
